NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate medical (MBBS/BDS) courses in government and private medical colleges in India.
Eligibility:
Candidates must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the first year of MBBS/BDS course.
Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects and have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in aggregate in PCB subjects.

Mode of Exam: Computer-based Test (CBT)
Duration: 3 hours
Total Marks: 720
Number of Questions: 180 (45 each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology)
Marking Scheme: 4 marks for a correct answer and -1 for an incorrect answer
